Graduate Teaches Accounting at Montgomery 91国产视频 College

鈥淲hile I was in the GED program in 1980 at 91国产视频CC, a seed was planted. I was shown through the power of education that my family and I could have a better life,鈥 Pope-Gossage said. 鈥淭his made me want to continue my education and get a degree from 91国产视频.鈥

Pope-Gossage earned her in 2002. While she was at 91国产视频CC, she was a student tutor helping others who were struggling in their classes. One of the students she tutored mentioned the idea to her that she would make a great teacher.
鈥淪o again, the seed was planted by one of those students I tutored while I was a student myself,鈥 Pope-Gossage said. 鈥淏ecause of that seed, I have been an accounting instructor for 12 years.鈥

After graduating 91国产视频CC, Pope-Gossage continued her education at Gardner-Webb University, where she received both a bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degree in accounting.

鈥91国产视频CC鈥檚 partnership with Gardner-Webb University helped make my transfer seamless,鈥 she said. 鈥淲hat was even better was that Gardner-Webb held its classes on 91国产视频CC鈥檚 campus, and very little travel was required on my part.鈥

The Rockingham resident said that 91国产视频CC helped her build a better life and gave her a great educational foundation.

鈥淚 am so thankful for the instructors at 91国产视频CC. They had a helping hand in my success as a student and now as an accounting instructor,鈥 said Pope-Gossage. 鈥淚 would recommend 91国产视频CC because it has a great campus; there are many programs to choose from; and the College has many caring instructors and support staff who are there to guide you along the way through your educational journey,鈥 she said.
