Students, Graduates and Staff Take Part in Vigil

Several 91¹ú²úÊÓÆµ employees, students and graduates took part in the annual Domestic Violence Vigil held Monday by New Horizon’s Domestic Violence Shelter at the courthouse in 91¹ú²úÊÓÆµ County. 91¹ú²úÊÓÆµCC student Sally Ingram read a poem at the vigil and 91¹ú²úÊÓÆµCC staff member Marcella McDonald sang a song. Two graduates of the College’s Human Services program, Veronica Roberts and Monica Covington, are now employed with New Horizons. Students taking part in the vigil were from Human Services instructor Amanda Faulk’s Crisis Intervention class.
